This course starts with a thorough yet understandable explanation and discussion of hypnosis and its ethical use. Primary and secondary suggestibility are introduced. The purpose and types (authoritarian and permissive) of suggestibility tests are discussed, demonstrated and practiced to better help students recognize necessary qualifications of a prospective subject. This discussion also includes common fallacies and susceptibility classification through occupation, age, impression, and emotion. A basic induction and awakening methods will be demonstrated, discussed, practiced and critiqued. Students receive a workbook with hypnotherapy scripts and marketing tools.
Completion of this course results in certification in Basic Hypnotherapy
