Commercial strategy for established founders and growing businesses

There’s money in your business. You’re too close to see it.

You may not need more leads, more content or another complicated growth strategy.

I help established founders and growing businesses uncover the missed revenue, underused assets, relationships and opportunities already sitting inside the business—then work out what is worth doing something about.

01 / The real problem

You may not have a lead problem. You may have a money gap.

Money gets missed when the offer is hard to buy, past customers are forgotten, warm conversations stall, useful assets sit unused or the value is hidden behind too much complexity.

The Money Gap Method™ gives you the outside commercial perspective to see what is already there—and decide what deserves action now.

02 / The Money Gap Method™

Three questions. Commercial clarity.

We look at the business you already have before assuming you need to build something new.

01

Where’s the money?

Where are you missing revenue, margin, sales or commercial opportunities?

02

What have you already got?

Customers. Relationships. Expertise. Reputation. IP. Offers. Data. Partnerships. People.

03

What’s getting in the way?

Complexity. Poor follow-up. Confusing offers. Pricing. Capacity. Decisions. Or simply being too close to the business to see it.

03 / Why me?

I haven’t learned business from a textbook. I’ve spent decades inside it.

Before The Money Gap Method™ had a name, I had spent more than 25 years selling, building businesses, leading teams, managing customers and being responsible for the number at the end of the month.

Earlier in my career, I led a geographically dispersed sales team of 45–55 people generating approximately £1.2 million in holiday sales every month.

I later built and led my own 7,000 sq ft business with a multidisciplinary team of 26, responsible for sales, marketing, people, customer experience, operations and commercial performance.

Since then I’ve worked alongside founders and entrepreneurs helping them make clearer commercial decisions, position what they do, create stronger offers and turn opportunities into revenue.

My speaking and TEDx work added another layer: listening, questioning, challenging assumptions and seeing the thing someone standing inside their own business can no longer see.

That combination became The Money Gap Method™.

I’m not here to tell you to post more, work harder or build another funnel.I’m here to help you see what you already have differently.

04 / Clear commercial proof

Money created. Money uncovered.

Money created£15,000in contracted work

From underused expertise to £15,000 in contracted work.

The problem

An expert-led business had valuable knowledge and credibility, but no clear way to position, package or sell that expertise.

What Debbie changed

Debbie clarified the commercial proposition, shaped stronger offers and created a much clearer route for customers to buy.

The result

£15,000 in contracted work—created from expertise and opportunity the business already had.

Money uncovered£500kpotential membership opportunity identified

A £500,000 opportunity hiding inside an existing audience.

The problem

An established business network had around 500 previous attendees and contacts who had never been taken through a clear membership conversation.

What Debbie identified

At £1,000 per annual membership, that untouched audience represented a potential opportunity pool of up to £500,000 before realistic conversion.

What happens now

The audience is being prioritised, the proposition strengthened and a repeatable invitation and follow-up process created. This is an opportunity identified and currently being activated—not revenue claimed.

Figures describe contracted value and an identified opportunity pool—not guaranteed future results. Outcomes depend on the business, conversion and implementation.

“Debbie brings strategic thinking, commercial realism and calm leadership—not fluff.”

06 / What happens afterwards?

The first job is simply to find the money.

Sometimes you will have everything you need to implement the Money Gap Map yourself.

Sometimes the work exposes a bigger opportunity.

Where it makes commercial sense, Debbie can remain involved through a focused strategic project or ongoing advisory support.

There is no obligation to continue.

Your next opportunity might not be somewhere out there

It may already be inside the business.

Let’s find what you’re too close to see.
